These 11/12th gen Intel CPU's also have the Intel Iris logo. Makes them easier to spot.

Too bad the Intel mobo prices are absolute insanity, as if the AMD mobo prices weren't bad enough. Then there's the fat greedy elephant in the room... that it's a dead end with Intel most likely, as it always is. With AM4 there will still (probably) be 1 more set of chips that will work.

@Neo ... i don't think AM4 will have another round in 2022... They will release AM5 now

From what I've heard AM5 will be in the 2nd half the year along with Zen 4/Raphael, and Zen 3D or whatever they decide to call it will be released for AM4 in the first half unless have plans have changed.

zen3+ for amd, raptor lake for intel amd really need to cut down the 5600x price in half,12400 is kicking its ass,and it's pci-e 5.0 5600x can't cost 300 when 12400f is 180

All of AMD's 5000 series was overpriced and AMD knew it, because at the time, Intel didn't have a compelling enough alternative and AMD was selling out of everything anyway. I predict we'll see some slashing prices soon, especially once the 6000 series gets nearer.

True, the CPUs are good and the prices decent but the cost of MBs is insane!

It´s normal to cut prices of older parts to clear inventories, the question is how AMD is going to price their new CPUs now that Intel has competitive products, is AMD going to lower prices of their new series or maintain the pricing scheme of the 5000s series?

Do you know the prices of the B660 DDR4 boards? If so please list them.

Yes we know: Compare b660 to z690 B660 https://www.komplett.no/search?q=B660 Z690 https://www.komplett.no/search?q=Z690 Looks like many cheap boards 🙂
not really. best price/feature here is the tuf plus d4,and it's gonna cost 200-220eur. for a pcie 5.0+3x pcie4 m.2 board that is pretty standard imo,but it's not cheap. 160-170 would be cheap and I still count on aorus/gaming boards from gigabyte to hit that price point. I'd be fine with paying this for the tuf board because of what it offers,but no,it's not cheap. and there are many gb's z690 boards that are a better purchase, like the UD,Gaming or Elite https://www.komplett.no/search?q=Z690&manufacturer=Gigabyte b660 from gb should hit that sweet pricing spot,under 200eur for all the latest connectivity features
