INNO3D is the worst company to purchase a high end GPU... My first trey with inno3d was with 5200 and lasted about 1yr and a half... 6800GT lasted 1 year and 3 months... no WARRANTY. bought 2 7800GT for sli... lasted almost 2 years... no warranty Ichill 8800GT lasted 1 year and 3 months... no warranty GTX270 lasted 2years and 2months... no warranty My PALIT 7870 is now on its almost 3 years... cheap and lasted longer... I will never purchase INNO3D even with some extreme cooling... no matter what cooling you put in there... they do not last long.

Sure you didn't have a cheap power supply causing issues? Failures can happen with any brand.. All reference cards are the same regardless of the brand

I'm surprised that it took you 5 cards and almost 10 years in total to not buy cards from that brand anymore.

There was a time when I always ran an aftermarket cooler on a video card. Ever since the GTX 2xx series though(2008...?), I've been satisfied with the OEM air coolers on GPUs. If better cooling is needed, most people would just add the card into a water loop these days. Do people buy these anymore?

Right? I may give a 2nd chance but that's it.

I use ENERMAX at that time.... GPU at that time cost about $500 which is not cheap and most OTHER BRANDS here sold locally is around $650 or more... depending on the brand... and I live in the Philippines... so its practically costly to buy high end brand new cards.

the ultrax4 version is probably the coolest air cooler on the market but they are noisy if they can use better quality fans so there much quieter and lower the fan idle speed , lot these aftermarket cards they set the fan speed at idle to high and u cant lower it in msi afterburner, i had change fan speed in my gtx 970 in bios then flash them , coz it was like 40% fan speed at idle to high you dont neeed it that high when ur just web browse or watch youtube videos

Especially for such a costly investment I would have opted for another brand... I already know I won't be buying Asus cards anymore in the future, and the ones I have now are the first. So I can perfectly understand why you won't buy anything from Inno3D again, I'm just surprised it took you so long. You would have eventually saved yourself some trouble if you spent those 150$ more than having to bother with RMA and upgrade every 1.5 years, probably getting more out of a 650$ card than 1.5 years and another 1.5 years for 500$ each.

also, why is a 180W card getting about 300W+ dissipation?

I more question his dedication to company which constantly failed him. And no warranty... After 2nd failure, he should have look for brand which actually provides one in his region/country.

My exact thoughts. Why so much invested in inno3d if they sucked so much with no warranty. Ive had 2 XFX 290s die on me but they had lifetime warranty and replaced them. Didnt feel scared on spending $550 on a XFX Fury X.

OK ... had to find my login to post here. I've had: - GTX 660 Ti, 2012 - GTX 780 non-Ti, present and waiting for their next solution all with inno3D Herculez solution. Guess what? Max stress temp. 60-62 Celsius. Never ever did my cards fail on me, even with very high OC settings from inno3d. My next card will be inno3D or maybe MSI because the Herculez coolers take sometimes 3 slots (my only gripe here). If their next solution will be sleek and effective like the non-Ti 780 cooler ... I can fully recommend inno3D 🙂

The only bad Inno3D cards i know were teh GeForce 4 Ti 4200 and FX 5200 series, other than that, there weren't much issues with their other cards specially when they debut with their custom coolers and pcb

Thats strange, I had Asus 970 it was doing full stop in idle, now i have MSI 980Ti it acts the same, the fans just dont spin in windows, only when i game or watch a movie they spin up
