Saweeeeeeeet!! Let us just hope that these gains in performance are not coming in the way of Intel's approach. As in there will hopefully not be any hardware level mitigations that need fixing in future findings.

Lots of bold claims there. I find it a bit weird that a modern embedded GPU doesn't support vanilla OpenGL.

Not like it matters - PowerVR isn't coming to x86. It's only going to be found integrated in ARM SoCs. Nvidia and Qualcomm are their biggest competitors; Intel isn't even playing the same sport.

Think you misunderstood what DeskStar was saying, he's not talking about them competing with intel, he was saying that he hopes the performance increases in their new product don't come with hidden flaws and vulnerabilities like what happened with intel processors.
