There have been Android offerings since at least late 2011 that run on x86. As for this device, I like the convergence idea, but want to know real-life battery consumption for such a device. deltatux

i have seen lots of x86 phones running w7 vista etc, they all failed

Yeah... I'm still waiting for a beefy x86 Android phone with heavy dev community support like the Nexus series currently have. If one doesn't arrive in 2 years I'll probably just buy the largest phablet available. No more dinky 4-5" screens for me.
