That sounds very strange to me. Hyperx peripherals are quite popular and they are represented in multiple competitive games as sponsors to some of the top organizations. But then again their keyboards are behind on representation compared to their rivals and mice are probably at the bottom, so maybe that helps. I wonder how much corsairs decision costs for example.
