This doesn't look too bad! Especially if that Keyboard comes with it at that price, looks quite nicely spec'd as well, not too sure about Tegra 4 and how it well it performs, I find my Nexus 7 can run a little slow, there always seems to be a very slight delay in most things I do on it, whether or not that's down to the Tegra 3 chip or not I don't know.

Yea the Tegra 3 in the N7 is a pretty old chip compared to today's standards. Don't worry though the T4 will run laps around it. There were some bechmarks floating around a few months ago and they were insane! Like mid 30k's on Antutu. Basically the fastest mobile chip benchmarks ever. Even spanked the Snapdragon 600 found in the HTC One and the Galaxy S4. I'll be preording the shield since that will be the first consumer product to ship with the T4 next month. I can't wait!

HP's previous offering failed due to WebOS. Do you mean to say that you think this will fail because it is on Android?

I think it will fail because HP are useless at support, it's unlikely to see many updates and god help you if it goes wrong. It too me 4 months, the threat of court action, a letter to the head of HP UK, and kicking up a storm on their facebook for them to fix my touchpad. Want to know what was wrong with it? When they replaced the cracked black casing (known problem), someone in the repair centre forgot to put the wifi antenna back, twice I sent it off to HP about broken wifi, twice they sent it back saying wifi was fine. I opened it up and there was no wifi antenna, clearly they didn't even bother trying to fix it as it's immediately obvious it was missing the second you open it.
