I'm getting really tired of not seeing new gaming laptops with Ryzen options. It reeks of Intel manipulation.

HP Does make Ryzen laptop so doubtful Intel has anything to do with it. I don't recall seeing any of the HP Omen laptops ever use the AMD chip but doesn't mean it's not happening in the future. I'm sure the Ryzen chip makes for a great low cost gaming laptop... after all, it's the video card that matter. Thanks.

All things considered, there being only less than ten Ryzen laptop models out there in total from various manufacturers is less than ideal this long into its lifecycle, especially when compared to all the available Coffee Lake laptop models out there. Here are the listings for laptops and gaming laptops, respectively: Ryzen https://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&IsNodeId=1&N=100006740 601307583 https://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&IsNodeId=1&N=100167748 601309374 8th Gen i7 https://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&IsNodeId=1&N=100006740 601303722 https://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&IsNodeId=1&N=100167748 601303722 Note that the criteria for Coffee Lake is even very specific (only i7) but the Ryzen is very loose (any Ryzen) and you'll see that there are hundreds of Coffee Lake laptop models while there are only 5 Ryzen laptops listed. That is downright anaemic.

I want to buy a Ryzen laptop, but I don't have many options. In the newegg links there are 5 Ryzen models in total (one is out of stock) and a few hundreds with Intel... If you want to support AMD the only chance is to buy the CPU and GPU for a desktop. Let's hope the big companies will make more laptops with AMD. Even small companies like Purism and System76 have only Intel laptops.

That's my point; intentional or not, the best internal layouts are being withheld from Ryzen products for no good reason. There is a demand that cannot be expressed on paper due to the simple lack of offerings to actually show product movement. The pool waterfall isn't going to do anything with an empty pool.
