I hope that it'll come to GOG.

So the developers don't understand Homeworld, and need feedback to make it. That's an awkward developing process.

Would love this. But they'd definitely need to step up a bit in terms of offering a SP campaign. I still remember, with the first Homeworld, how the game was actually great, but felt like it was lacking proper SP content. Also, I hope they're not going for more money and signing with EGS. Hence, I'm always wary these days, if a game does actually become an EGS exclusive or not...

I had both HW1 and HW2. Both games are part of my childhood, and I have the best memories about them. Also, modding community! For HW3 to work they just have to nail the SP campaign, following the lore. Keep the gameplay as true to HW as possible, and expand the possibilities in terms of customization (complex mod is still awesome). The game doesn't need to be made in Unreal/CryEngine and look like Star Citizen, it just has to fell and play good.

By the sound of it they are selling off virtual property like in the game The Entropia Universe. That's the only way for players to profit from a game. Like you find an asteroid with rare earth minerals and claim it and people have to pay you to mine there.

Sure it will be Epic exclusive, it's published by Gearbox, and if you don't like it, Lying Randy will "explain" to you on Twitter how wrong you are.

I liked Homeworld games. But they did not feel as epic as Freespace games where one fought uphill battle from 1st to last mission. But I hope this one will do well.
