I thought it was pretty fun. They did a decent job 🙂
We've all just been so spoiled by so many high budget films etc, takes an awful lot of talent to compete with all the small details a well established crew put into Hollywood level productions.
Its easy to be a critic and correctly notice the failings in such short film, but to Actually try to produce something better is really not easy.
So for what it was, yeah, I enjoyed it.
Give them a little credit, they did something better with probably no real budget to speak of that TV movies often fail to pull off with millions to spend.
Some of the shorts out there though really are starting to pull off Hollywood production levels though which is pretty impressive.

This one is funny is kinda(kinda what?) and bad?, Machinima has shared a new fan short film based on Valve’s shooter, Half-Life.
Half-Life: Foxtrot Uniform (Live Action Short Film) May 16,2003: When Gordon Freeman inserted the sample GG-3883 into the Anti-Mass Spectrometer, it was the begining of an unstoppable chain reaction. First the Xen Aliens invaded the Black Mesa Research Facility; Then the US Marines were call in to contain and eliminate all threat. After the complete failure of their operation, the CIA black operatives were send to arm a thermonuclear bomb in order to destroy the entire Black Mesa facility... Follow USMC private Cooper through his journey in hell.

Haha, that wasn't bad, it was kinda entertaining, didn't think I would have watched that till the end, but I did! Quite funny in places, quite gross / quite well done in places, I think the slightly cross-eyed security guard (or whoever he was) was my favourite character, couldn't trust HIM with a gun!

Terribad, but it did get my juices flowing for the HL series again. I love the whole story and there's so much potential for a successful No 3. Could you imagine the sales from a HL3?
Even if it's very short or just badly made then i still think it would break all previous sales records by far.

kinda funny, but i dont need to have an IQ of 180 to know a marine will cover their ears in a firefight, nor leave his/her gun behind just because they dont have ammo,
and that someone that got the arms blown off, will spray arterial blood everywhere..

If it ever became more than the revenue for the steam store and the 'hats n guns' they sell from TF2 and CS-GO, I'm sure Gabe will return our call.
Until then, word around the campfire says Gabe is concerned about anticipointment á lá 'Mass Effect 3' and doesn't want the negative press.
