Coolest ROTM yet. Massive kudos to you Božo, all you need now is a nice long hidden display cable and some wireless peripherials.

Came here to say the same thing. My favorite PCs are the ones that are far from conventional. Aside from the radio tuner, is there anything not used? It's kinda hard to tell based on the things listed and the photos. I wonder if you could use the radio tuner for a manual overclock. It might be a little gimmicky, but, I think it'd be a real riot to open up CPU-Z and see your CPU go from 3.88GHz to 4.08GHz when you rotate the dial from 88-108MHz. Nobody else could say their PC does that.

Ah, the ultimate sleeper PC 🙂 Do any of the knobs and switches do anything PC-wise? It would be cool to flip a switch and turn on the PC or turn a knob to control fans.

Yeah, my bad. I didn't read it all the way through.

This is wicked cool. Totally my aesthetic, wood and copper and old HiFi. I was hoping the knobs would be functional, and they delivered.

Dated hardware, but my god, that's awesome use of an old HiFi! Kudos, winner!

The nice thing is most of those parts should be easy to swap out. Unlike a lot of highly-custom mods, there's nothing especially tricky about the way this one is set up.

Functional amplifier is at the bottom, tuner is also functional, and PC is on top.

That is true, cause these are all classical components... and since motherboard is EATX, I can really fit anything inside once I decide to upgrade.

Wow, that looks better than Rita Heyworth.

Back in it's heyday Sanyo made excellent stereos.

Sick modding here mate. I love the way you use this hi-fi equipment to be part of your pc or was it the other way around! And of course the Noctua fan is cool, still with it's color and also the colors of the graphics card wow, respect!

It all started when I decided to collect all the components of this Sanyo system... So I got the amplifier, Tuner, Program Timer and was (and still am) on a lookout for the Deck from that series... One day I found one broken amp on sale for really nothing... and then the idea popped in my head... I could move my PC into that, and make the front completely functional! Bought it, and then the fun started... it was all but simple as I thought it will be... but it was worth it... now I have a 70s stereo system with a little powerhouse inside 🙂 Best thing is that is uses much less space, its completely quiet... and no one has an idea its a PC 🙂
