Worked like charm , honestly i'm bit surprised , performance is close to the same maybe 5% more , but what hit me is temperatures i'm reading , it is almost 8-10C less during gameplay in Valhalla , i just clicked TUNE and enebaled profiles and hybrid OC.
Also clocks seem to stay higher. Maybe my sample is lucky but that results are pretty amazing.
There is no way i could get same results with PBO + CO , not even close... it's like mix of manual oc + PBO + curve optimizer.
Check this out guys
Some nice numbers there with simple few clicks . I can't get anything close with PBO/CO. However my cooling quickly hit it's limit 🙂 ( 90C and throttle in CB20) , so i wouldn't call it stable on my cooling for benchmarks , but for gaming it is perfect and cool.
i noticed that while running cpu-z benchmark on my 5900X and using the new hybrid oc profile switching, cpu-z single thread benchmark isn't running on the core using the new PX profile.
A couple of cores are running over 4.9Ghz but the single thread bench is happening on another core running at 3.9Ghz.

Im having the same problem with my 3800x, using only the P2 profile with a low CPU usage min does the trick, The PX profile isnt working on low thread situations
The link to download previous version of CTR have been removed it seems.
Was looking to download back v2.0 but hopefully it seems i still have it on disk.
Also back onto single thread performance, i noticed that during cpu-z benchmark the voltage is going extremely high when not using ctr, might be why the core used by cpu-z might be running at a higher frequency

Nice man, i got a similar setup but with 3200 cas22
my score
st= 636
mt= 4832
whats your mem speed?

These are my current settings to ensure zero WHEA errors with CPU overclock , normally with PBO disabled ( stock ) i run 3933 (1966 FCLK).
I think i can get CL15 working but it is not that much difference in performance , right now i'm wondering which gives more performance , higher fclk 1966 vs 1866 , or CPU overclock ....
These are the best stable settings - had to tweak volts a bit and clocks, CTR was too optimistic , resulted in freezes and crashes 🙂 ( calculated P2 at 4750 at 1.3v )
Also 4850mhz at 1350 wans't stable ,resulted in random crash under just desktop. - reduced to 4825 and pushed volts up to 1.375 ....
Only problem right now is CINEBENCH which results in overheating and throttling with my current cooling ( Bequiet shadowrock 3). Not that i will use cinebench for anything 🙂
It's working for me for the most part, but when I run cb23 for ten minutes, it keeps switching from p1 profile to AMD default profile. If I deactivate p2 and px profile, it'll stay on p1 profile for the whole run. Has anyone else run into this?
Got results I couldn't even come close to touching with my 5900x using this as opposed to PBO/Curve Optimizer. The auto profile switching is probably the game changer which a is massive leg up vs PBO/CO. My CB20 scores went from 8100-8150 on auto vs 8950 and easy 5ghz boost. I messed around with PBO/CO all day and could only hit 8600 with some real suspect temps to boot. So I am more than happy with CTR.

You can push p1 profile if you have decent cooling and want some record breaking scores 🙂 i think you can do 4650 at 1.35 🙂
Whichone is this particular improvement?
"support for unique dual CCD 5600X and 5800X processors"
I have one of those CPUs (5600x) .
I would like to know if I can get an extra performance?
Regards
