Do you have link please Hilbert? because i am praying for a PC version, but it was only up for consideration yesterday.

The prospects of a PC version of GTA 5 appear to be in a terrifying state of flux. After seeming to be a dead cert earlier this year, doubts emerged when the game’s posters confirmed only a console release. Now asked directly about a PC version by IGN, Rockstar’s Dan Houser would no more commit to that platform than he would Wii U. A potential PC version is only “up for consideration,” he said. “That’s all I can give you. The main thing is we are not… we are a third-party publisher. We’re not Nintendo, we’re not Sony, we’re not Microsoft. We love all of them in different ways. But we can do what we want wherever there’s the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market.” So, uh, does that mean there’s an appropriate business opportunity on PC, then? Houser didn’t say. He did however say that the current geriatric generation of creaking console hardware is ample enough to see out their creative intentions. “Some other people talk about the limitations of the [current] hardware. We don’t feel there are that many limitations. We feel we can do some very impressive stuff and do it for a large audience. This felt like the way… There’ll be a much larger audience on PS3 than there will be on PS4.” Erp. What worrying words. Here’s hoping Houser’s just being cagey.

I hope you're right, but I wouldn't count on it based on a dubious translation. Every bit of info I've seen on the web has been very non-commital regarding a pc port.

It's a standard protocol for this franchise. Interesting when it will out for PC? Could be 1 month, but could be 6.

After the the problems i´ve had with GTA 4 for PC that i couldn´t finish the game because it would crash every time i would swim for a little, they can stick GTA 5 up their asses for all i care!!!

Lol GTA IV ran like piss for me too, even when updated with the patches. It did not even run in SLI since I tried a single GTX 580 as well as both in SLI. No difference at all in performance. One can only hope GTA 5 it runs half decent...

so dan hauser says in the ign interview they are concidering it , and a few days later in Multiplayer.it he is confident there will be a pc version after a few months.

I admit - I pirated it, but now I have my favorite titles like GTA4, L.A. Noire, MP3 on Steam and I'll wait 5th GTA and ofcourse i'll buy it. No matter when it will be on Steam 😀

Nope, probably I played with better "tool". I can't remember when I started the game, but I'm sure that not at launch. I knew about that funny bug. 😀

Show your stem profile. :thumbup: And about me and my experience as pirate: Back in 2008-2009, in my country was very hard to find a genuine DVD+I have no internet connection. But now, with Digital services I don't need stores and DVDs.

Hardly on here anymore, but guess i'm not missing much as 2 out of the last 3 threads i've read have been just people arguing about who is the biggest pirate. Anyhoo, good to know this should be out pretty quickly, 3-6 months is fine to wait so hopefully no longer than that, anything more than that might prove difficult. As for GTAIV i always thought the game ran very well if you had a good CPU and knew what you were doing with the settings, unfortunately i think too many people just blindly turned everything to levels they just didn't have the hardware for.
