There is no wonder, it first came out on PS3/xobx360! Although it is really interesting that some people continue to buy it to this day, I guess due to online. But anyway, this here is the reason that there was no GTA6 yet.

Ah, I remember that day well - April 14, 2015, PC release in UK.

Got it for free on Epic, tried to install some rockstar bullshit on my PC, so i didn't bother.
Not like GTA genre is any good anyways, last one i played was GTA3.

With mods, this game is pretty fun.
Drive around with my wheel, and use xontroller for movement outside car playing in first person. Car mods are what is so much fun and just playing around with such a large sandbox area to do what ever.
I could careless about online.

GTA 5 is probably latest AAA game I have bought at launch (PC) full prize and not regretted a second. I was not fan of the 4 and never really played the earlier 3rd person GTAs, but 5 is awesome. I mean the single player, don't care much for the multiplayer. The story and characters are great and have just the right amount of satire while still being "believable" (in the context of the game world of course). All main characters have their flaws but are ultimately, if not likeable, at least given enough backstory to understand their motives and morals. I really liked how you could switch between characters even mid mission and see the same situation from different perspectives. Also just watching the main trio interacting was very entertaining. Almost like watching some over the top action comedy, but playing it.

Multiplayer lacked the one thing I wanted from it:
The ability to control a city and create a crime syndicate

What kills GTA online for me is the difficulty connecting to and maintaining a mission with 4 players in it. It takes forever to load. Sometimes I spend more time waiting than playing. And if you do any of the heists, you have to pray that everyone's connection stays stable or guess what? You have to start the entire process over again. If connections were about 50x quicker and more stable, it would be a much better game. As far as the single player story, it's by far the worst of all the series. I didn't like anything about any of the characters I got to play, which made me not care what happened in the story at all.
