To those of you saying its a new game to you; are you saying you would be happy to pay full price for any old game as long as you hadn't played it before? Even if it were years old?

If it was being released with the same graphics and engine it had when it originally launched on the PS3 and xbox360 then no I would not have paid full price and I do not many others would have either unless they were the diehard fans. Since it has been completely revamped for the PC yes I would gladly pay full price for a game that is more or less new because of just that.

It's new on the PC which is all that matters. It's irrelevant when the last gen version came out as that from a technical point of view is a completely different game to this. Not that i have pre-ordered this, as i don't pay more than around £20 for any game, but it's up to people to make their own decision about how they spend their money. What is it with certain people who stick their nose in other peoples spending habits, it's annoyingly common but it's absolutely none of their business.

I pre-ordered, but in vouchers I got for free, so...where does that leave me in the pre-ordering 'argument'? The game does come with the video editing system btw - and some might say that is worth the admission price alone...

Yep, so the game at best is 7 months old, so not the slightest big old and definitely not old enough that it would be subject to a Steam price cut.

I'll admit that I myself tried to reason not paying full price simply because of the games age. Then I realized how f!@#'n stupid that is. Not pre-ordering I can understand, not paying full price by waiting for a sale, smart move, getting up an arms because of how old the game is vs its price....really? there are worse things going on in this industry. I am curious, perhaps annoyed at why its taken so long. I would love for R* to... not so much provide an explanation (they dont owe me **** after all), but I think it'd be an interesting topic. For now im just going to stick to hating ubisoft and complaining about DOA's port and Dlc.

Ill get it during Sales when it's 75% off, just because it's 2 years old game already. Sorry Rockstar can't pay full price for that.

It may be a 2 year old game, but it's still brand new for me since I've never even touched it. Why? because waiting for the pc version has been totally worth it.

Sorta, it was released on xbox 360 and ps3, which are ancient consoles. so in this case it deff. feels worth the wait and to pay full price. Now if it was released first on the ps4 and xbone, then 2 years later it came to pc, then yeah, I might not pay full price for it.

I noticed this is a real problem when it comes to discussion of things like Beats Headphones, Bose anything or Apple computers...etc. Anything that gets really popular and is expensive. Suddenly all these wallet worms come out and tell others very negative opinions of them for spending their own money. I thought it was comical at times, then became sad and now I just get annoyed as if I or anyone else is supposed to ask for permission first.
