Hmm, I guess a lot of it may be placeholders, but the overall "style" seems a bit bland for GTA.

Rockstar Games themselves are to blame. They delayed the development of the game for a decade. GTA 6 was supposed to come out 5 years after GTA 5 was released but Rockstar Games was so busy making money from GTA Online that they missed the time.

Even if they did nothing, it would still be as real as it gets. Same debugging tools were seen on rdr2 animation presentations.
I just hope this fiasco does not cause further delays. It’s a pretty sad thing to leak something people were waiting for for so long.

Dude...I got Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima to play...it'll take me another year of playing them to even consider GTA6.
Let them take another 5 years, I really do not care at this point - and I most certainly would not be willing to give them money when the development of a game is so utterly toxic, that staff had the vitriol to post leaks about how bad the working conditions are.
It's like when someone leaves a country considered to have poor human rights, like North Korea, and they talk about what life is like living and working in a country like that...these videos and leaks represent a lot more about how horrid these companies can be to creative people.

@David3k thanks, they're actively scrubbing the internet with bleach trying to get rid of any evidence, and some places have enforced bans so I thought I wouldn't get to see it. I'm curious.

Zero sorrow for the suits at TT / Rstar.
I feel a little bad for the person who managed to steal the code because they are about to be sued into their next lifetime. They did a bad thing sure, but Rstar and TT have real life Gordon Gecko's for a litigation team.
I mostly feel bad for the designers, artists, and developers working on the game who are now going to be unfairly judged on incomplete work by the internet mob (that's us). Shady influencers will go for the easy impressions by sniping at a random unfinished piece of work that was never supposed to be public. And thus their flock will be satieted until the next shiny thing needs to be picked apart.

I would find it a little bit ironic if Rockstar, a company that practically glorifies a life of crime, were to take legal action against the hacker. Kinda like teasing a cop by taking his hat and then moments later, your car gets stolen and you ask him for help.
And no, I'm not one of those people who says video games cause violence.
Well, for anyone who really cares, just avoid the leaks. Nobody really knows anything so it's not like anyone can effectively spoil anything.

Can we really blame Rockstar on this? If people don`t mind wasting money on GTA Online, then no need to rush the next entry.
In the end, i see no big problem on this leak, because the game is always the same, only in different settings with different characters...

Wtf are you talking about? GTA5 didn't even come out a decade ago. Plus there were references to motion capture artists/voice dialogue recording like 3 years after GTA5 came out for GTA6. Most games take 3-5 years to develop and GTA is one of the largest games of all time, so potentially longer. That's not to mention they released RDR2 which probably took a large effort of the development team in-between.
I feel like GTA isn't a game known for being stylized.. except for like the cover art. Graphics will be poor at this stage of development anyway, usually that stuff comes in last.

What amazes me is the huge amount of people on different forums (Reddit for example) who think that these Alpha gameplay videos represent the final product. I mean, how stupid can someone be to believe this?
