Despite its condition on release, I did enjoy the first STALKER. Will definitely keep an eye on this, but not get hyped.

Head over to GOG and grab the Stalker bundle and out it in your cart, wait a few weeks. They will sell it eventually for peanut money, without DRM.

I see "right-handed" weapons. (Except for the MP5.) Good job, GSC. In the earlier games, Marked One, Scar and Degtyarev fielded the most diverse collection of left-handed firearms ever assembled. Not a big deal, but people do notice. I like the character models, too.

The fuq is this game? Looks like a Metro rip-off but Metro did it better. Yes, I troll ^^. Cautiously looking forwards to it. Still treasuring my collectors edition SoC in it's tin box.

The clothing and weaponry look very nice. Much higher resolution/textures than before, but with the same gritty, well worn look that screams post soviet bloc authenticity.

blasphemy I know 😀 🙁 but proly a right decision as well. I am suspicious too, but mostly because There is not a single original dev in their team, is there? The very first thing they wanted to show off was... GRAPHICS - of fukin models(!) no less. REALLY? Do these ppl even know what STALKER is about? Models can look like 2004. potatoes, but it would still be a TOTAL win if they get the A-Life right. Community mods, herro?
