I hate these kind of trailers. I think this is just another one and gamers should stop buying these games or else we wont get any better than this.I'm talking about the lack of the cockpitview camera.It's such a shame...

No cockpit no thanks. I played though grid using only cockpit just like I do with the dirt series It's for me one of the main selling points.

It was stated a while back that less than 5% of the player base used cockpit view in the previous game, so the devs left it out of this one.

sheesh, what a point of contention. When driving in a computer game - last thing I look at is the cockpit/dashboard, I'm looking at the road...the thing which the car is connected to. Everything else is meaningless. 5% is optimistic imho, although I got a friend of mine who is angry, even though he'd be playing my copy at my place.

No cockpit view has ruined this game, grid is brilliant with 3 screens, g25 and track ir. No cockpit view means less immersion and no tracker and therefore no interest from me in the franchise anymore, hope it doesn't happen dirt which is already becoming more gimped with each release.

They still have the bonnet-cam, so it's exactly like 'cockpit' mode, just minus the thing you don't really need thanks to the wonders of GUI/HUD: a dashboard obscuring the view of the road. Grid has always been on the arcade side of racing games anyways, so the purpose a dashboard (provide information to driver) can be supplanted as it doesn't add to any level of simulation or realism for Grid. In something like GT; it does.
