I'm surprised they gave the full game away tbh cause usually you never get the full DLC.
I'm already a Celebration Edition owner so tough luck for me but it's still a busy, fun game.

Well, grabbed it yesterday. Do I understand correctly, that Origin will suffice for launching?

Most of the time you have lots of free DLC, go to the DLC page when you get a free game on Epic, or click on "offer" and go down after the game, you will get plenty of DLC with your game (don't worry i was thinking the same as no one explained to me 🙂 )

yes, but the game will be tagged "steam game" or "epic game" depending on your poison, it's the same with Epic game on Uplay.

If you launch the game in origin, Epics launcher also will be launched. So , I'm gonna go with no.

Why did i just add this to my epic account as i have it already on the Xbox and don't touch it because it is just more effortless trash like the first game, and the single player story is a joke after you have played a actual single player SW game like Jedi order. lol
So 120 free epic games on my account that i won't ever touch, i remember thinking the 20 floppy disk Atari st games i had back in the day were more than enough for a lifetime. lol

I just needed something new to drag me away from the division2, the funny thing is as i started the download through origin it said game playable at 17%....whats the other 83% for.

I love it, the whole supremacy game mode and recurrent update over time breathed a new life on this game. Regularly jumping in for a few rounds.

Used to be really active in this game after all the dlc and balance changes, definitely shaped up to be an amazing game!

If it work like "not origin but the other one", when you click on the game it will launch both Epic (as it was get there) and Origin then, when launched, you can close Epic.
Now that all bugs are fixed since years it is a good one, even the solo quest isn't bad... you should try it, it's free 🙂

huhu Was Squadron not Battlefront 2 tho. bought one month of EA play to try back Anthem and Squadron, for a grand total of 3 euros quite a deal

WTF??? I paid 60 Euro for this on Origin... and I don't have the Celebration Edition and even today Origin is charging €39.99 for it. This pisses me off... I mean all the level upgrades and levels etc got in this game on Origin would not transfer to a Epic install of it so you would be back at Level 1 in that if downloaded, so not much use. How can Epic give entire thing away while Origin wants €100 for it?? Apart from that its 54GB in size so I don't want another 54GB copy of same thing wasting space.
