So how much is Google going to pay me for all this tracking data they hoard to sell to the highest bidder?

I would have thought Disney would have copyrighted that name/word.... guess not.

I'll stick to storing things in one place and returning them when not in use.

Wasn't he called "Grobu"? With a B? Anyways, I still don't get what those trackers are actually good for. Still sounds like a product without a really good use case. It just exists, and then companies simply jump on the bandwagen after Apple sells it to it's clientel, which is NOT the same one other companies live off...

I know of people who really seem to depend on these. It's good for people who can't remember where they put anything.

And those people actually don't forget their phone to track them? Or the access PIN to do it via the computer or something like that? This is an honest question, I just don't see any scenario where I would profit from such a device without relying on some other device to track this one, which in turn, I would be able to forget or lose again... But I guess you are right, especially with certain medical conditions I can imagine people actually making use of this.

I'm wanting one to hide on my cycle, perhaps at times even on the doggie when in the sticks.

lol yes, they often misplace their phone too. That's why many of them also have a smart watch to track that too. It's hard to lose something tethered to your body. I prefer the low-tech solution: Keep my phone, keys, and wallet in the same 2 or 3 places every time. Never rest it anywhere else.

I found the solution to that, when she told me she loves escape rooms I build one for her ...4 years later still can't escape it ! (Obviously kidding)

That's my rule as well W ith 1 bowl I put my keys in, 2 days ago after I came back from work I unlocked and jump in the bed clothes and all ...keys on my hand ... Next day I was looking for my keys for about 1 hour! They where under my pillow after all .... I wish I had a tag on em that time!
