iPhone's screen has grown to 4.7" already, so I suppose it'd not impossible for ipeople to switch to 5", especially since its using the superior oled technology compared to iPhone's IPS. It feels like finding Android phones with screens smaller than 5 inches is quite a challenge these days.

With that insane pricing Google can **** themselves.
I've been really waiting for these phones and been ready for a somewhat higher price... but not for the price of the ridiculously overpriced Apple and Samsung toys!

I've been waiting for these too! I buy SIM free so £599 for the base model is just to much! £819 for the 128GB XL, seriously no thanks lol

This was to be expected from google. The handsets are over priced compared to the Nexus 6P, yes i know technically your getting alot more but still Google should have to come better with the pricing. It seems they know they wont be selling millions of units so ramp the price up so the FANBOYS/GIRLS make up for the short fall. I too buy my phones sim free so its a Oneplus 3 for me. Maybe a Oneplus 4 if im wanting more. 🙂

I might buy it one day... or maybe I will wait for the Galaxy S8. I dunno yet. Apparently its gonna have dual camera. Thats what I care about the most on a phone. That and battery life.

I have an Lenovo Vibe Shot and it has a nice 16MP sensor with OIS for 250 Euro in Europe so Google can go **** together with Apple and Samsung the only really good devices i see there and i would count as an sensible for their price are the HTC10 and the Sony Xperia line like Sony Xperia X Performance which has 88 points from DxOMARK and is 600 euro at the stores and 500 euro at the mobile operators in Bulgaria probably even less somwhere else.
By the way i'm really happy with my Lenovo Vibe Shot for more than an year already it is a solid all around performer for its price and probably the only good looking and solid build phone from Lenovo cause the rest feel in the hand like a cheap junk.

It's too expensive for what it is but I'm probably going to buy it anyway.

Also as far as the US goes, only carrier it's available through for financing is Verizon right now. What....?
Not that it matters, one could save up to buy the phone direct from Google anyway at this point. Then it's unlocked!
Scratch that, Google does do financing the same way the carriers do it. So guess it does not matter too much after all.

As far as I know, Verizon does not have anything like Jump. But their exclusive title comes from it is the only carrier that offers the Pixel directly.
You know what's funny about the Pixel is even on Verizon, the device is still unbranded. Meaning there is no Verizon logo on it. This is one of the few Android devices sold by a carrier with no carrier branding.
Now I wonder what kind of Verizon bloat will be on it? 🙂

This phone is really nothing special and cost way way too much, S7 would be a better choice, especially S7E.
Bad start for Pixel.

the prices for "smartphones" are just rediculous now, yet people cant live with out them cause they need to post every thing of there life on some social site.
Everyone made the goverments of there worlds job easier namely tracking, cause there more smartphones out there then anything else.
