Aw snap! The new Google Earth isn't supported by your browser yet. Try this link in Chrome instead. If you don't have Chrome installed, download it here. Learn more about the new Google Earth. For Edge, FireFox and IE.

Complete rubbish. Doesn't compare with the desktop software any single bit. Almost complete loss of features ... no more ruler, flightsim (which works with a joystick!), add objects (path, polygon, etc.), E-mail location/image, etc... and I could go on. The "new" G.Earth is like a kid's toy car vs a grown-up car. Terrible.

Unfortunately your computer does not support WebGL graphics acceleration; Google Earth cannot be loaded. Please try another device. WTF.

I admire Google's passion to just throw and switch things like that. They just don't give a ****. Overall, modern application implementation seems to be like "just release it, fix it later". While it might be inconvenient for an user, I think it's a good approach. The only way to make a good product fast, you just release it at best working state and adjust it to approved public opinions. Anyway, I think Google want to make strong difference between Google Map and Google Earth. No shared map and other content, just photos of Earth. While Google Map focuses on just providing accurate map with features related to it. I mean Google got balls, allright? ... G(ball)(ball)gle ... ok, I see myself out.

Wow people sure like to complain with unrealistic expectations any chance they get... It isn't supported yet in browsers besides Chrome. That doesn't mean it won't be supported. If you have WebGL problems, chances are, you're using an outdated browser, GPU drivers, or have some weird configuration. It's a website, and yet people think it isn't feature-rich enough? What's the point of having a compiled binary at all if it were to be fully obsoleted?
