IMO, Google got it for pennies. Twitch is worth 10 times more, minimum. The add revenue alone will be in the billions.

Could see that coming months ago. There was some direct competition with youtube, so no more competition there since they are all part of the same company now.

Agreed. My Walmart thing was a bit far fetched. But in all reality I can see if the whole Comcast/Time Warner merger goes through, Google picking up Comcast since they already have somewhat of a fiber network down. This would save Google the labor in installing it as well as make a nice little customer base already. They're turning into a bit too much of a huge monopoly...

We probably are existing in a world of monopolies and such companies already. To me it started with the light bulb cartell back in the 19th century, if you have ever heard of it.

I called it, Twitch Interactive Inc just shut down Justin.tv. I guess Google/Youtube did not want the extra baggage.
