What is the advised maximum operating temperature for these chips? Still at or close to 72 Celsius core temp? If so the overclock isn't usable for 24/7 usage. At what speed will it not get to hot with a decent heatsink+fan combo and with liquid?

Since Intel moved to goo in between CPU and heatspreader, almost no CPU can stay within that. So, everyone OCes to temperature they are comfortable with.

Will the on-board audio be able to decently power my 80 Ohm headphones? I see it has no slot for my sound card.

If you only need quality sounds without features (dynamic volume, Surround effect, etc...), consider getting USB DAC. For 80 Ohms I am on-board sound would be enough. DT 770 I guess?

There's a 2nd M.2 slot on the back of the board that wasn't mentioned in the review. The one on the front takes a NVMe or SATA M.2, but the one on the back only takes NVMe πŸ™‚

My current on-board (ancient Sandy Bridge stuff) couldn't drive them loud enough πŸ™‚, so in went the Sound Blaster.

Yeah. I have a full size mobo now, but was thinking of upgrading (err..down grading??) to a Mini ITX in the future.
