I just love this pulled out of the ass claim of stable 4300 on liquid cooling. Maybe CB15 stable. Can You show us 1 hour 16gb REALBENCH pass ?? Or IBT Very High pass ?? O ye cant cause it will crash in matter of seconds or minutes. Even with custom liquid cooled pc..... Top BINNED 2700x are only 4200mhz stable @1.425 https://siliconlottery.com/collections/pinnacleridge/products/2700x42g I know cause got one... and 4250 on 1080 Extreme nova is Maximum those chips can do on 8 cores stable with sub max temperature of 71c after hours of torture tests.

Hey you get off your high horse ... Get off Hilbert's back , if he claims 4300Mhz stable for whatever test he is running it's not a pulled out of ass claim , it is a valid one for that test. No we do not play REALBENCH or IBT Very High Pass here , so stop with this BS that you are stable because you ran your 2700x for HOURS torture tests , really no one cares πŸ™„. chispy but people see reviews like this and EXPECT that theirs chip will run at those speeds.. Was same story with Ryzen 1. Everyone claiming 4ghz stable. I purchased 3 1700x and all of them failed to be stable at 4ghz no mater what volts. Had to settle for 3950 πŸ™ But was like damn all got 4ghz i must have bad one so got another one and that could not do it either so got another one. Kept best and sent 2 others back πŸ™ Not even talking stress tests. They ware unstabe while rendering projects in Power Director so Real user use. Gotta love when system crash 4 hours in project and have start production from 0.

While i see your point of view and opinion i do not agree with it , as it is clearly written " We expect most Ryzen Series 2000 CPUs to be able to hit 4.2 up-to 4.3 GHz with at least proper cooling. I expect most processors to hit 4.2~4.3 GHz stable on liquid cooling, and some parts can reach 4.4 GHz. It's a bit of a luck of a draw really. " *EXPECT MOST* as in not all of them. So it is clear that you need luck and good cooling to achieve such results. Results may vary. It is a matter of luck of the draw really and the word stability while overclocking is subject to opinions as what i consider stable for my needs not necessary what you consider stable , stress test versus gaming. Every one has a different point of view as what stability is , while i can say i'm stable at 4.1Ghz on my highly binned 1700x , it is true for my needs and use = Gaming. Let's stop this conversation right here as it is not nice to put down this man hard work because of a personal opinion of yours. We all can agree to disagree πŸ™‚

If you've been around for any length of time you have to know that *nothing* about overclocking *anything* is guaranteed. People doing reviews give it their best shot--reviews are opinions, don't ya' know, not to be confused with scientific documentation--he hits what he hits and reports it, and then gives out estimates based on what he's seen. Your idea that all 2700x cpus are exactly the same simply because they've been binned and passed the same verification tests is ridiculous, frankly. It really does depend on luck of the draw--there is nothing set in stone when overclocking--some people will get better than you, some worse--you can depend on it. Always and absolutely. Further, although you are overclocking and you ostensibly know that 4.3GHz isn't in any form guaranteed by AMD for your cpu--and that HH plainly states that YMMV and "luck of the draw"--you want to pull some iron rule out your derriere about 4.3GHz...? Come on...;) You actually complain about 50 measly little MHz...? Probably wouldn't even show up anywhere in your work--it's such a tiny difference. MHz isn't even everything about overclocking--sometimes achieving higher MHz with over-volting will actually slow down your work when doing some kinds of work with some kinds of software--used to see it frequently with ray-tracing rendering work--sometimes, even, backing down to default voltages and clocks was the only way to speed up the process, in certain cases. Caveat Emptor--nobody, but nobody guarantees over-clocking--and they surely don't guarantee it for specific purposes that people will pull out of thin air. Not trying to bust your chops, but the only thing guaranteed by manufacturers is their default, advertised clocks/voltages, etc. Nothing else. Overclocking is literally "luck of the draw"--and not just with cpus--but consider the whole other universe of variables thrown into the mix--like PSU, mobo, chipsets, settings, cooling, ambients, etc., ad infinitum. Overclocking is more of an art than anything else--always has been, imo.

Funny you say that. A few years ago I wanted to see how far I could over clock my Phenom 965BE and ran a benchmark think it was MAFIA II. I had more FPS oddly at 3.4GHZ (stock) then at 4.3GHZ Yeah I know it was an old game but I bought the game on sale and never noticed it had a benchmark option. The difference was only 1-3 FPS better at stock speeds. I'm guessing throttling or the RAM was going crazy. Maybe the built up dust caused even more heat since it was built up pretty badly.

Bought this board 3 days ago and im not fully satisied... Poor BIOS(no LLC or simple vcore options) is one thing but high VRM MOS temps when rendering is another thing. It was getting close to 100C. Luckily tightening the heatsink screws(on the back of board), dropped the temps by 10C. While playing BF1 multiplayer(64 players) it goes only 57-59C. My CPU temp is about 70C on load(2700x 4100MHz @1.38v) is it safe?

Mainboard's manual states that F2 switches to easy mode, I guess it works to go for the advanced options too. F1 gives you the F-buttons and how they are mapped.

Everything is there with f1 except advanced bios feature. with f2 I can only choose between classic and easy mod

Isn't "classic" what you are looking for? The advanced mode = classic mode? I can't recall what it was by default on my Asus board (looks the same as here), switched it once and never looked back.
