I really like the looks of this mouse. I like having extra buttons because I have problems hitting the wrong buttons on the keyboard in panics. I am curious though, will the OLED screen be able to run other programs? I went from my Logitech keyboard and loved the afterburner monitoring on the screen. I didn't read the whole article so maybe it mentioned it. If so this may replace my razer.

w smartphones there is no need for "random" screens anymore IMO. There r quite a few server-client apps which can monitor your PC already (android at least). Plus they can remotely control your PC and do every kind of weird things. This kind of mouses look nice..., but those kind of adds are usually very overpriced and do not really provide any real improvement, I never had one, but they feel like typical things that after two or three days you have on your desk and only use space, I'll keep with my regular good sensor (this is what matters IMO) wired mouse :/.

True with the cell phone apps, the only problem with that is I am constantly on my phone with other things and really just like having my PC be just that an escape away from my phone that is a giant PITA ringing and vibrating. I constantly use afterburner to monitor my card usage etc, as it seems there are more and more games I play that are buggy and it lets me be confident that its not my system. Also I am not a fan of playing with the overlay on my screen because it's a distraction and takes away from my screen space. I guess its just personal preference. I guess my biggest problem (if you consider it one) is I am constantly changing parts. If I could only find someone to donate or loan me new parts I would save a bunch of money!!

Well, it's not a problem if you can afford it or you can re-sell them at the right price, as long as its fun for you 😛c1:. I use remote system monitor on the phone, but yeah if you want to disconnect from the phone, it not an option, i prefer to turn on silence mode and do not answer any1, no1 expects me to answers asap so its fine 🙂. Or use a key to toggle on-off osd for those "debugging moments",but yeah in your case that kind of LCD makes sense.

I can't say it's a bad mouse, time will show, but i don't think that it should be classified as gurus recommended, price is high also hardcore gamers who buys these kind of mouses usually buy corded/wired or i don't know something?

OK, let's compare features against the Logitech G700, which is the main competitor for this mouse. First off, the buttons: I don't like the button placement on this mouse compared to the G700. IMHO the Logitech G700 is laid out much better with four thumb buttons and three programmable buttons on the front-left side, with only one under the palm (plus a dedicated free-scrolling/click-scrolling mouse wheel toggle switch that does not act as a mouse button). I don't like buttons under the palm because it feels unnatural and uncomfortable to have to tuck your finger back like that. Also, the G700 has 3 more programmable buttons than this mouse has. The OLED screen "POD" is just plain unnecessary (especially if you already have a smartphone with a monitoring/control app!). In games my eyes need to be on the monitor screen(s). Any other display device is superfluous. It's an unnecessary luxury at best and a distraction at worst. However, one feature this mouse has that the G700 does not is the retractable charging cable built into the POD. That's a actually a pretty good feature as it will unclutter your desktop a bit by coiling up that cable nice and neat. The G-700 doesn't have that feature though in my experience it's really not much of an issue. While it would be nice to have, it's not really a necessity. When I have my G700 in wireless mode, I just lay the charging cable off to the side or up under the monitor in front of the stand where it's out of the way. Also, that "POD" going to be one more thing taking up space on your desk/table. That's fine if you have a lot of space but many people have limited desk/table space.
