What is this - IPS / VA? Freesync / Gsync? As long as they can't mine on this, the price should stay more or less the same.

Depending on what is used for building these things, it might also be affected by chip shortages. But even if not, the base price will be huuuje on these.

When they say 10bit, is it true 10bit or 8bit+FRC

Lots of missing info here but as there won't be a graphics card capable of 144 Hz (at 4K + RT + max PQ settings) for years & years (if you can buy a top perf card anyway), why would you buy this screen as against a 120Hz GSynch LG OLED? If the 42" LG screen, apparently due later this year, had been available last November when I bought my PG35VQ, that would have been a very tempting alternative.

Might be better to get LG CX or C1 if one is invested in large tv "pro" gaming.

Most probably VA with 8bit+FRC

Seriously considering buying this monitor. Not sure if my vga can take full advantage of it though. I own an Aorus 1080ti with three 1.4 display ports(no DSC) My understanding is that I will be able to achieve 4k, 4:4:4 98Hz or 4k, 4:2:2 120hz. Not sure if the above limitations are valid only for HDR content. Can you help clear out what is the maximum my vga can do on both SDR and HDR? Thanks
