I'm so glad 10GbE is finally becoming available for home use! Gigabit has been around for far too long and with the SSD being normal in systems for some time and gigabit fibre Internet also becoming a standard, it's about time we got faster LAN speeds. And to all those people who say "you don't need faster than gigabit at home", you have no idea what I do on my LAN or how expensive my time is. Personally, I can't wait to actually be able to move large files around quickly!

always has, but no use if using old hdd. youd need thunderbolt to make decent use of it really. I generally use it at home for switch uplinks so saturation doesnt occur.

X570 + Intel X550-T1 gave me the best results fyi Z390 + AQC107 seemed to be bottlenecked I think by the chipset i/o or something as I tried the X550-T1 on it and had the same 3Gbit-ish speed limit
