5600xt has made the 2060 super useless at 1080p at its price point. Only those who simply hate AMD would still buy it at this point. Being a fan is an awful expensive hobby these days. Like I said before AMD and Nvidia always know what the other is about to release just before it's made known to the public. Thus the NV price cut of the 2060 before release. But it certainly not enough. It was already 2x the price before the cut. I can only imagine how one feels who purchased it about 2 weeks ago 😑. Now seeing the 5600 xt at its price 😱. And finding out the 1x price cut on the card πŸ™.

Between a 2060 and 2060s on average, with nice temps. πŸ™‚

2060 price drop puts the two similar level but the 2060S @ $400 seems kind of pointless now. Only 8-10% more performance for nearly $120 more.

Nvidia's new slogan for all the 2060/s owners: gotcha...again!

Thats a very nice performer at that price. AMD boosted the card in the last moment with the bios update. Im surprised its closer to 2060s than 2060. Finally a nice card from AMD, 5500xt was just overpriced for what it is.

With BIOS update trading blows with 2060S ($400) in DX12. And trading blows with 2060 ($320) in DX11 all at $280. Great job. The 1660s is still a better Performance per dollar but this GPU is a better step into the QHD realm.

Something to consider before buying a second hand Vega 56.

Even the 2060 needs another price drop. I wouldn't recommend it over 5600 xt at this point.

Wow, even a little better than I was expecting. Great bang for your buck!

Yeah, retailers are offering the cards from 300 € upwards. Meaning 5700 territory. WTF

Thats a still 50$ cheaper than a blower 5700 being only 10% or so slower on average.

Good luck with your AMD GPU which is basically already outdated and legacy hardware. People buy Nvidia RTX because of Raytracing, DLSS, Gsync, crazy fast renders for workstations thanks to RT cores, etc. It seems like the only jaded fanboy here is you, and frankly, I feel a bit of buyers remorse in your post.

As expected, prices are bad in shops.

$40-50 more and you can buy a 256-bit, 8gb 5700.

There is no rtx 2060 price drop, its all on paper. Good luck finding evga ko version anywhere and nvidia 2060 FE is not in stock. Im sure nvidia did it just to try being competitive at 300$ range.

Sometimes I end with an onliner from say game of thrones, sometimes the command for a modem hangup (ATH ++), and this round a load command for the Commodore 64. Yes, your editor is a little weird like that just because he thinks it's funny - it's my inner g33k. I salute you for recognizing that command properly πŸ™‚

Your ignorance is amazing. Digital Foundry just showed RTX2060S running Wolfenstein at 4K DLSS, ultra settings, raytracing ON, 60+FPS. What you don't understand people with RTX cards have an option to run raytracing or not. You do not have that option with your slightly cheaper AMD GPU. You get what you pay for.

2060S is a 400$ gpu using dlss 50% resolution and it was not maxed out becouse game uses more than 8gb vram. I also think it was 1440p not 4k. Credit goes to amazing id tech engine optimization and great performance in the first place.
