Idk but if amd is comparing bare 5500 to 480 then this lower end navi cards may surprise us. 5600 could be faster than 1660ti/super.

1650 super to fight 5500. Well puzzle is complete somehow. 5600XT=1660ti/1660super(no amd equivalents here) 5600=1660/rx590 5500XT=rx580/1650super 5500=rx570/rx480/GTX1060

Also they just made the 1650 Ti obsolete even before the card was to be released well better early than late I guess. Its obvious that the 1650 super is going to be just behind the 1650 Ti. But at the end of the day it depends on pricing and what AMD is doing as well.
Undying:

Very good possibility. I could see this happening as well.

I guess GDDR6 isn't quite as expensive anymore as it used to be, plus the narrower bus width made possible by the speedier memory would further contribute to savings.

Making a 1650 and 1660 Super is a good move from a marketing standpoint. Definitely looking forward to seeing benchmarks.

I guess we are at a point that ddr6 is cheaper than 256 bus, although 128 bit bus is very usual on this tier a while now.

Boring, If prices of video cards were better this would not be necessary filling the gaps and what 15$ difference? Why bother to upgrade for 5 - 15 % increase of performance over the last gen? I waited 4 years last time, has only been two now guess I will be waiting again for something more realistic!
