Someone should tell them that curved displays are not a thing since the first month they were introduced into the TV market passed. Do you see 2019/2020 curved TVs from good brands? Nope. So what Gigabyte is doing here is using outdated shelved panels no one wants, and hopes for profit. I literally laugh every time I see 24" or 27" curved monitor, tho, 32"/34" just makes me chuckle since people that buy those, usually get two to put together and have money to burn.

Monitors are for a more personal use though. For a TV the curve doesnt help for viewers that sit further away from the center. For 21:9 and 32 inch monitor it def helps to see more of the sides without mowing the head. The curve is definitely not a thing of the past at least for a while - samsungs upcoming monitors will even have 1000R curves for many sim players those monitors will be godsend.

well, we agree to disagree then. You also forgot to explain how 23/24/27" benefits from curved panel. Are those people sitting 5cm from the panel? PS. I did mention that bigger screens with curve are sort of a thing for some people that will buy two or more to put side by side, like the sim players you mentioned. All 10.000 of them.

That is your opinion... Curved TVs didn't make much sense coz of distance but I really enjoy curved monitors where it works quite well and looking for one to get... Comparing TVs and PC screens is a silly idea imo...

I really enjoy being kicked in the ballz, but I do understand that's not everyone's cup of tea.

Well, I agree with you. Whenever I see a curved TV or monitor I think gimmick.

Curvature within ultra wide monitors is a must.

Hey, there still are the 2k€ monitors for you. Dont tell me you were expecting a sub 500€ monitor with a good amount of dimming zones and HDR1000?

Price has nothing to do with my post. I'm just bored of manufacturers churning out unremarkable cookie cutter monitors.

As stated by me many times on G3D, a HDR600 would have been nice at this price point and in 2020
