It's a beast, plain and simple! Gief a shot from the side 😉 That's where it shows how tall it is.
Sorry for the RGB show. I'm just trying to sort out Gigabyte RGB Fusion. You can customize the LCD screen on the top of the card. You can have pictures or temps or almost whatever you like.
No support bracket? I hope you have reinforced pcie slot. :P
Jokes aside again its a beast probably best looking 3080 out there. Gigabyte tends to overbuild their Aorus lineup. (Even my old 580 extreme looks beafy)

Yes, the PCI slot is reinforced. I'd say it needs it to, it's a very heavy card.
You have some sort of personal "supplier"? o_O
ps. you have spelt two words wrong in your new signature - not "Auros Extreme".. its "Aorus Xtreme" !
Chairs for the heads up, In my excitement, I didn't check my spelling. He does feel like a personal supplier, as I almost always get an email when something new has just come in. 🙂
I managed to nab the 3090, sheer fluke, there was 1 in a shop, should be here this week 🙂
This monster is going to be mounted upright, my mobo lays flat inside a table. I read its 7.8cm thick!
The wait for a pre-order 3080 is over, phew.

I'm struggling to get my 3090 running with my Skylake rig, each time I put the card in I get a QCode of 53 on boot.
This suggests a memory problem but its fine, runs at 3840c17. Even 1 stick at 2133MHz doesnt work.
Am troubleshooting it ...
ps
updated the bios
tried 2nd pcie-e slot
Checked power connections.
Pressing the safe memory boot button doesnt help.
Also the card came with fine scratches on the shiny plastic!
But it was definitely brand new, unopened.
@Mufflore I believe you did reset BIOS prior and after its update. But did you tried to reset it while New GPU was in place?
And just to for checking, do you have other PSU at hand to test it at boot? It should not be and problem as GPU should need only minimal power at boot. But one never knows.

Its working in my AMD 3600 rig, with a 9 year old Corsair AX750 lol.
No messing, worked straight away.
I didnt reset the bios with the card in situ, its worth a try.
Its a very pretty card, the LED lighting and LCD display look great.
Although the LED updates as the colours change has flicker.
