haha that is done on purpose. 😀 These things are bloody huge, 3 slots, look how small the back panel looks. Do we get a graphics card holder, because that thing without one would bend like crazy.

Not a problem, many higher end cases nowadays come with GPU support brackets.

Super easy to make anyway, go to any hardware shop, but a small diameter section of aliminium tube and glue a washer top and bottom, pop under the front right corner.

What you think about gigabyte GPUs? Because to me their software is absolute dogcrap, they have non existent hysteresis. The fans behave like absolute crap in hybrid mode. I mean I fixed all issues with msi afterburner custom curves+TDP but still, absolute dogcrap by default. Gigabyte thinks that VRUMMMM...... .... .VRUMMMM...... VRUMMMM.... ... VRUMMM... is an acceptable behaviour in hybrid mode.

Looks like 150mm out from the motherboard, yet they still use those cheap as f*** 100mm fans that have zero static pressure to push through a thick heatsink.

I think you are looking at something more in the neighborhood of $1600 msrp for the Founders edition 4090. Of course, the card companies will bump that up a bit. With bitcoin still in the dumpster I think you won't have the miner buying frenzy to worry about this time.

I guess we'll see. Another factor will be the exchange rate towards the dollar (in my case).

@Netherwind 4080 should be cheaper, at least the 12GB version is expected around $1200+ The only issue with it is that it doesn't bring a lot more performance than a 3080ti, possibly a 25-30% based on specs. -RTX 4080 16G, PG136/139-SKU360, 9728FP32, 23Gbps 16G, 340W+ -RTX 4080 12G, PG141-SKU340/341, 7680FP32, 21Gbps 12G, 285W+
If that's the case then it sucks. I fear nVidia have made one uber card (the 4090) and then vastly weaker models (4080) which will "force" 3080/3090 users to make the jump to the 4090 despite a crazy price tag.

OK this isn't on the merits of the 4090, but the marketing of it. this is an obviously high-end product at a high-end price so why the heck does the packaging look like it's made for 14 year old boys? and all of the AIB are guilty my god all of the AIBs should book a trip to Denmark to visit Bang & Olufsen. the Nvidia FE is the most adult looking gpu on the market and the packaging (for the high end) looks it. i don't need robots or someone looking like Daft Punk to buy a GPU and imho it's insulting
