Nice temps on that one. Will we be seeing a Evga ACX review? 😀

Yes ! Unfortunately that card arrived moments ago ... so perhaps next week.

A metal plate to prevent bending... I don't know why every giant video card doesn't include that, my 6900 is bent from its own weight. If I decide I'm insane enough to buy a GTX 780, this will probably be the one I choose. 1.2GHz boost sounds good, but does it actually maintain that when overclocked?

Mostly yes, but you do need to allow a temp increase and open up power limitations. Worst case it would drop to 1150'ish. Which is still brilliant for a GPU with 4.3 Billion transistors when you think about it.

These are the cards for the guys not wanting water but dont want to run the cards up to 8oc either. shows you how much titan cooler is just looks

Seeing how much better than stock cooling this is, I wonder what it would do for a Titan, if only NV allowed that. A Titan at such clocks would establish a fair lead again.

It sure would've been nice if this came out before the Titan. I'm expecting quite a few Titans being sold on EBay. You could sell your Titan(s), buy 3 of these 780's and still have change leftover. I can't help but wonder how a pair of these would stack up against my ARES II, as well. I usually buy a new Nvidia card whenever they come out but certainly not this year! Probably. It'll be almost impossible for me to turn down an MSI GTX 780 Twin FrozR.

Nice, HH! I might get this one. My 460s also were WF cards.

omg im so getting this Gigabyte I have been a fun of Gigabyte's Windforce cooling 3x since I got my GTX 670 with them I hope the price drops a little though. I will be waiting till June/July to get it. Just sold my Gigabyte GTX 670 for 350$ muhaha Wow still amazed by the 30% additional performance juice 😀

Seems there is some stock in already... at $660 regardless of brand - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&N=-1&isNodeId=1&Description=GeForce+GTX+780&x=-1166&y=-112 $660 + tax = $746 assuming no shipping or additional fees. For ****'s sake, it's not even the top card.
Just had a look too few minutes ago on newegg and saw the pricing. thats absolutely too much. I will be waiting and waiting till the price drops under $600. I am okay putting $550. But yeh the $660 price tag isnt justified.:puke2:

Way to much money for a 20 to 25% increase from the 680. Gonna wait until is under 400 :P, no rush here!

That's a sweet looking card.

$550 is a crazy high price for 1 piece of equipment which is expected to be demolished by the next generation (Maxwell) in 1 year, and I would have ordered that. I might have even bought it at $600... but $660/$746? http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mbr4jkv7Ew1rvag9k.png

When is this version (Gigabyte Windforce) coming out? I can't find it on Newegg, TD, or Amazon. BTW, I was at work when this hit the stores, so I probably missed it, but did Amazon have any 780's in stock? By the time I looked they said they were out of stock. Newegg still has reference boards available, but I want the windforce or ACX cooler.

I've been very happy with my Windforce X2. Gigabyte's cooling really has improved over the years. Mine is a bit flimsy, but is super quiet and keeps very cool compared to other manufacturers' designs. The performance gap between this and The Titan is smaller than I would have expected. If I was looking for a GeForce GTX 780, this would be my top pick too.

^^ Flimsy in what way?
data/avatar/default/avatar04.webp
Not sure what MrBozack is talking about, the Windforce 3x GTX 670 that I had (sold it now) was robust like hell Fan and heatsink wise. Was far from Flimsy.
