i remember the rumor / news a while back but never heard of em since then no idea if they came out or so but heh i was responding that actually 5g 1080's might be out on the wild already !

I was wondering he didn't know about these as info about these was literally everywhere few weeks/months(?) ago. Oh well, he is tech-entertainment, not tech-specialist.

I wonder if that's to get rid of the rest of the pascal stock since new GPUs are coming soon or just nvidia saying pascal is here to stay for a while..... hopefully we will see some new products soon

there is no issue with memory controller setup on the 1060 5gb. it is simply cut down from 192 bit to 160 bit and has the corresponding 5 gb of vram just like the 192 bit has 6 gb.
