First of all, nvidia should not be releasing system req. but Ubisoft. Second the recommended gtx970 was barely playing beta week ago at medium settings.

Recommended = maxed out 60fps, right? 970 is not even close to that.
I assume/hoping we would see better optimization in the final game but knowing Ubisoft that may not be the case.
What? Didnt you see Tj 980ti benchmark? Maxed out he was getting 62fps with dropping at mid 50's. Vram usage is way above 3.5Gb on 970.

I have a GTX 970 and it played just fine. Along with my 4690 i think i was always in the 40-50 FPS.

I have a G1 1070 and a o/clocked i5 2500k@4.2.Its true,it hardly budged over 60(maxed settings).I did kind of enjoy it though, hopefully the upcoming open beta may havve fixed this issue.

These are Nvidia's requirements, thus they only tell what is the minimum and recommended hardware based on Nvidia cards, would not be smart of Nvidia to tell what other cards should run like... And Recommended does surely not mean maxed out 60 FPS - that would be a "optimal" and is usually never stated in any game releases. And this being Nvidia's recommendation, it's still Nvidias official recommendations.. 🙂

People need to research first before talking rubbish
Still not a game I'm remotely interested in though 🙂
No issue with the former (see why below). As for the latter you clearly missed the update which addressed those performance issues. People reported it was running perfectly after said update on lesser hardware 🙂
"Any game that needs an i5" so basically every game? What the heck are you talking about???? I have no idea what you're trying to say, but in that current form what you said= completely wrong.
Anyway. The game looks to be quite boring.
And finally, Ubisoft already released system requirements prior to the beta. So I'm not really sure what the issue is here

Is there a review embargo until post launch day like "For honor"?

I had no issues in the beta, as long played without v-sync and borderless fullscreen. 50-55 fps maxed out
