What I've read is that it's a very shallow management experience. Pretty dinosaurs and thats about it

Clearly they didn't pay IGN the money IGN wanted for a nice review...

Pretty dinosaurs are a good start for me but if the trees, grass and plants are blah then it's a no go. I mean good management gameplay is fine and important but bad vegetation takes the edge off it imo. Ground level view, or "street view" is another way to term it, is going to rock if the visuals are good.

not in your picutres...in general...the streams i see and other videos...seems empty? i dont know...only a few stuff to build. DLC's incoming i guess.... 🙄

Purchased this for my son I had a little play 3 hours AT 4k everything maxed good fun I am not very good at looking after dinosaurs they kept dying have a feeling I may get better at it...……….

There are alot more buildings than in genesis - but it takes a while to unlock them... i've unlocked about half by now. I've unlocked all i can on island 1 now, so im gonna move on to island 2 🙂 https://i.imgur.com/3CeMyIH.jpg

Can we feed the T-Rex with the Park employees in this game? For some reason I'm reminded of the dinosaurs in Primal Rage replenishing HP from eating tribesmen.

Any way to hide the user interface or hud during gameplay? Like a Ctrl-H in some games removes the UI. If anyone knows. It's just for a temporary viewing of the scenery and dinos with no text or UI menus on screen. Or for screenshots. I could message the developer at their help center but don't really feel like doing that now. And don't have the patience to figure it out by altering code in cheat engine programs.

Played this game this morning and tonight and it's not half bad. It looks nice, the dinosaurs especially are supremely detailed and beautifully animated, and it also runs well maxed out at 2560x1440 (around 85-90 fps on average). I am having fun with it but I fear that it might be too simplistic to have any real longevity once the thrill of creating the different dinosaurs wears off. The game is also stupidly priced at £44.99 and, so far as I know, cannot be bought from anywhere else but Steam so you cannot pick it up at a discounted price from GreenManGaming or CDKeys (at least yet anyway). Also, there's a £10 Day One DLC pack that adds 5 dinosaurs which is a complete rip-off and, yes, I had to buy it so I have the complete game! :P Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad game (like say Tennis World Tour... avoid that one like the plague!) but I feel it might be a bit overpriced for what it offers. Of course, if you are a fan of the movies and like me then you absolutely have to buy this but if you have any sense (something I don't have alas) wait for a price drop first. For a licenced game, this is at least decent plus some of the cast do voice-overs in the game, including the always hilarious Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm. P.S. The game can be played with a controller (I'm using an Xbox One Elite) which is nice and played perfectly fine this way. It's not a deep management sim that requires mouse precision IMO and all the menus are well set out and easy accessed with the controller. At no point did I ever feel frustrated at playing the game with a controller as the button mappings are intuitive and sensibly laid out.

Hmm, i can't seem to figure out what fences to use for what dinos... having issues with herbivores thrashing the fences !

The only thing preventing me from buying this game is the price. Use any other name than the one they used, and it would've been less than half of what the price currently is.
