Any updates on the pricing?

If I go for Nvidia this time, this will be it, I suppose. All the rumours about the laptop level of specs of the 4060 Ti are so disheartening. I hope I don't need to sell my neighbour's kidney and retina to fund it.

Hmmm memory allocation etc seems like a 3060 12gb successor... But impossible! It is named 4070 after all :P

well the 4060/ti are off the table do to horrible crippled bandwith and 8gb rumors (if true) 4070 spec look if price right which it probably isnt gona be i would get it. though i was hoping for under 200tdp, I will just undervolt it like i did with my 1070ti, again if price right which it wont be still shaking my head at fact the 3060ti had 620gb/s with gddr6x and and we going backwards on bandwith, guess castrate ram and bandwidth the new deal. 🙄

They are banking on fake frames clawing back all the FPS.

Is the only selling point to the 40 series.

I am sure they are, could careless about it to much like i did with fake HZ crap tv's do, but like it was pointed out 40 series selling point is those Fake frames. Since DLSS hit scene it been all about that too. I all for it if DLSS quality can look and runn BETTER then native 1440p or 4k, but that not always the case that and cost gpu since that has gona threw the roof. which to me is not worth it cause now gpu price as so bad it not really worth it less i stretch build out even longer. MB/CPU/RAM upgrade general cost what i would pay for gpu, now for cost gpu series I have. I could get 2x MB/CPU/RAM upgrades

I feel like people forget that 80%+ of new games prior to DLSS were running TAA anyway.

I never used TAA as i never liked what it did to picture in motion. maybe that changed in recent years and new games. But if i see that option I avoid it

The 4090 is the only card worth buying from the line up and that says all about Nvidia`s current offerings... 😕

Its my hobby and I've very few outgoings, il not have my pants pulled down over costs though and tend to buy more interesting products rather than each new slightly faster release. I would have kept with my 6900xt but my son needed a new card and i wanted to play with the 4090.

I went to a 6900xt from my 1080Ti and its a serious jump in performance (4k) once you get the power draw and UV dialled in, however the raw power of the 4090 plus great thermals and again power draw once UVed

No problem, i`m not critizing you or making any type of remark. The 4090 is a beastly card and i`m glad you are enjoying it. The problem is that the 4080 and 4070ti are also very nice cards but their terrible prices destroy their value and make the 4090 the only car worth buying from the 4000 series.

I had a 6950xt during two weeks and it was a great card, giving a perfromance jump of around 110% compared to my 1080Ti.

Yeah the days of being able to get a highly overclockable mid range card for a bargain price have long gone.
