Great review Hilbert love the conclusion. Nothing more needs to be said about 4060 and state of pc market.

If it were $50 cheaper and/or had another 2-4GB of VRAM, I'd say this would be a really solid 1080p RT card, or 1440p either with DLSS or without RT. I agree with Hilbert that it isn't worth upgrading to from 1 or 2 generations back, but the low power draw would make this ideal for SFF builds. It's a shame Nvidia had to undermine this with their stupid "influencer" stunt. Gotta say though, I'm surprised how often the 7600 traded blows, and how it wasn't that far behind in RT. While I would still not consider AMD for DXR titles, I think they're only 1 or 2 generations away from being caught up.

Great reviews and lots of work ,thanks for sharing.

If you have £299 and a 1080p monitor, this is the only card that makes sense. £30 cheaper than a 3060Ti. Less heat and power draw than a 3060Ti DLSS3 and FG Virtually same non RT performance as a 3060Ti Moaners gonna moan, but we ain't living in the past, the way AI is going this could well be the golden age of gaming GPUs, come 2025+ we may well have only 5090, 5070 and 5050 to choose from.

great review HH and thanks ! Sadly the 4060 is as underwhelming as expected 🙁

Color me shocked, and the let down pricing wise to performance continues. I might of consider the card for 199$ to replace my 1070ti, but that would probably been choice i regret if i did No such thing as bad gpu just badly priced

True, but three years from now, when the current reset is a distant memory, we might be looking back thinking £299 for a 1080p card that can play CP2077 at over 60fps as a bargain. Judging a current gen card by how its price compares to a previous gen card is futile.

Great review but this a £200 card at best, same goes for the 7600 If someone is looking for a 1080 card they might as well buy the 6650 XT

Wow so the 4060 is actually faster than that POS rx7600? I though it would be slower LOL. If the Asus Dual 4060 can be had for 300usd then it's pretty good deal compare to previous xx60 where MSRP cards are pretty subpar in term of thermal/ fan noise, I still have a very barebone GTX1060 that cost 300usd back then

If both manufacturers are doing it suggests that the days of huge upgrades for each gen have gone. I think Nvidia used to be more like +40% gen on average, they are now more like +20%. I guess that is what it is.

Finally, a card that makes 6700xt look good at 1440p.

3060ti is faster at 1080p tho, at 1440p even more so

If dlss looks bad at 1080p you can use frame generation without upscaling and still be faster than 3060ti maybe like 3070 not only that but reduces the cpu limitations. I kinda want to try it myself.

1080p native looks awful, that is the problem https://imgsli.com/MTg4NTE1

1440p upscaled looks better than native 1080p. Even when i used dlss balanced. I was surprised.

Better by a mile, and look at performance, 1440p dlssb runs a lot faster, and you still have FG to make it even faster.

Insulting product. Consumers need to wake the hell up and stop being taken for fools. Thank you for the review!

Thanks Boss for the review. Results unsurprising however.

Great review, but i have a question in my mind since long ago, the stars next to the review is a user rating for the product or the review, because feels like the product is being rated while the review shouldnt be punished because of it.

I miss the days when new component launches were actually exciting, new technology, new innovations, big uplifts in performance it all just seems so stagnant now. Nice review as always, the conclusion summed it up nicely.
