If the rest of the card is exactly the same as the 3080, there will only be performance difference when an application or a game knows how to use the RAM and were kinda bottlenecked with 10GB. So, yeah.

Ti should never have the same amount of memory with non ti. If 3080 ti is bound to happen, that it is then. If not, this will be the only intermediary between 3080 10gb and 3090. Time will tell.

on 100$ msrp extra for extra 10 gigs? seems little to me. I would say 150$

What issue could they have? The 3090 already uses the same configuration.
