Exceeded our expectations? They haven't even fulfilled half of orders for the pre-orders in many places 2 months down the line. What did they expect 100 cards from each country to sell?

Nice pinky cover up about a bad launch however, major problems in every inch over the globe and GFX card manufacturers cannot meet the demand. Bronze age collapse, (digital age collapse) inc.

What a fiasco this 2020 turning out to be. All of them. Rtx 3000 series , stupid RDNA2 cards launch and to some extent ryzen 5000 series. 🙁

It wouldn't be as disastrous if they gave a shit about doing something about scalping. I'm blown away that scalping is still legal, and places where it was illegal have had it reversed (at least for ticket sales) by asshole corrupt politicians. Like premier asshole Dog Ford of Ontario.

The amount of scalpers is staggering this time around. The amount of RTX 3080 and 6800 XT cards for sale at exotic prizes is mind blowing. For Ryzen 5000 CPU's even the e-tailers themselves are scalping. What a joke. But scalpers wouldn't exist if no one were willing to pay so stop supporting scalpers.

This entire generation has turned into a $hitshow. First Nvidia with the 3000 series, and then AMD with the 6000 series. Luckily, my GTX 1080 is still performing admirably, so I can comfortably wait. Until this blows over, or another gen comes along.

I have mentioned this on a couple of occasions if you are happy to wait until the refresh for both Nvidia and AMD then do so by then maybe they will have got their act together.

At least the new consoles aren't in short supply, right...? RIGHT?!?! 😱

I'm guessing by the time they become widely available, we would have the refresh.

And this is probably mostly due to people cancelling their order in the queue in front of you, rather than actual stock being sent out. (I've ordered a TUF non-OC 3080 from overclockers and have been following their stock threads in the forum as well as my own queue position coming down from 1300 to about 700, whilst they have sent out zero units of this particular graphics card - all due to people cancelling their order.) From initial NVidia and Overclockers.co.uk communications I was confident I would receive my card in November or December, but now I'm not so sure!

Dont give up hope guys next year will be better and we will get our cards. 🙂

I've learned my lesson last time: buy the replacement card first then sell the old one (mining in 2017). Everyone with decent cards should just sit it out, most games you can optimize by lowering one or two settings and the quality will be 95% the same (as usually Ultra quality just eats up resources with marginal gain). I'm want to believe this is due to covid and everything from production to shipping is not working at steam. But we all know what Nvidia did with 2080Ti. But then AMD too has no cards to sell, neither Ryzen 5000. A Ryzen 5600X costed +/-450€ here (with stock), and now is at 320€ out of stock (same shop). I can't imagine who the idiot was who bought it at that price when they could have gotten 3900X for +/-470€ (or 3700X for +/-320€)

Hi, is you number per brand or across all brands, im waiting for an update from scan.co.uk.....last week i was 101 from 167(over 3 weeks) in the que for my 3070 xtrio, the info from scan is a bit conflicting though, i was told in a chat with scan that my number was across all brands but there faq says per brand which makes no sense as when i got my pre order in there were only 31(167 in que) Msi pre orders across 3 different cards so im taking there info with a very large pinch of salt at this moment in time.

Planned shortages and price hikes now that they know AMD has got no stock either

And crypto currencies are trying to break it's all time high.

I don't know how it's universally, but ever since the Covid-19 situation began, I've been reading that drug use jumped significantly over here. It makes sense with people having less things to do, getting bored and depressed, forced to remote working or losing their jobs, etc. With drug use increasing, crypto would naturally become more valuable.

Buying before the refresh was always going to be depreciation nightmare but this time you can't even buy them at all lol. Along with the consoles I can't think of anytime there was such a bad release from multiple companies, atleast the AMD and consoles only just released, Nvidia released in September and at this rate you're looking at 6 months from launch before real stock is available. Only so much can be blamed on covid

They expected to sell like.. 1000-2000 cards in the entire world? Remove the bribes... hem the "gift" to the so colled "youtuber", remove some failure samples.. that's not a nice expectation of sell for a multi-billion tech company.
