I was correct since day 1. Equal to 1070ti and faster than Vega 56.
Thanks for the great review boss. Nice and quick work as always. 😀

Nice review. Overall card it does offers a 1070ti performance.
BF5 ray tracing performance was abysmal. I can imagine Metro will probably run even worse.

Well, As expected from parameters. Little OC to match 2070 in power consumption and it is almost same performer.
Almost $500 performance for $350.

The performance was where it at least should be, so no surprises there. Only time will tell if the RTX will be worth paying for in this card.
Btw, the "Star Wars Battlefront II Ultra HD" chart has accidentally the Vega 56 bar highlighted, not the RTX 2060 bar.

I can buy a 1070ti card for the price they are selling 2060 for in my country.
So..why would I need this 6GB card if I can get a 1070ti with 8Gb ram that has better performance? For crappy Huang rays? 😉
Now undervolt (and OC) this vega 56.
Most if not all reviewers have no idea how to run Vega cards.
+ I bet they compared a crappy reference vega 56 that can't hold it's core clock high enough to a dual fan 2060 FE.

Sleeves up for the next great review, let the disappointment, from NVIDIA of course, continue!

350$ isn't mid range at all.

Alright, this actually seems good, however we were told that $349 is the price for the highest version, the 6gb GDDR6, if that is so, doesn't this mean that the other options will be cheaper? Seems a bit strange to be honest, NVIDIA would have announced the lowest price, for the lowest model first, instead of the highest price. Something seems a bit off.

I thought this thing would be closer to the 1070 but not bad performance for the price

If the best AiB rtx 2060s are close to vega 64/gtx1080 and the normal versions are faster than 1070/1070ti/vega56.
The lower spec'ed 2060s will dominate under 299$. No one will buy ever again rx 570/580/590. AMD is in a bad situation if they do not push navi fast. I swear I didn't see that coming. Everyone was crying about expensive cards, but Nvidia, is getting even more money.

Anyone else think that GPU cards should be released in a cheap=>expensive manner?
This should have been released first, with the 2080 about "now". I don't understand why they release the most expensive cards first - my synapses simply don't care about RTX, not now, and unless the future brings me something worthwhile, probably never.

Perfs are good but the price is too high. No reason to sell my 1070 other than i could probably sell it near as much as i paid for it 1 year and a half ago which is kind of sad to be honest. AMD must release something good soon to put pressure on nVidia. I bought a Ryzen 7 1800x in 2017 for 440$ CAD. So i bought a high end consumer CPU for pretty much the price of this entry level GPU. Yeah i know it performs as well as the 1070 but it's still the cheapest 20xx series GPU you can buy so entry level.
Gonna keep my 1070 for a while even if it's not able to achieve 144fps at 2k most of the time without sacrificing image quality. At least nVidia woke up and will now support Freesync.
