I'm interested, if my GTX 480 is died to RMA because I want "fast" double precision. πŸ˜€

It is not worth it. If your card dies, you get 660 Ti or similar in return. Once you sell that you would still have to pay over 800 €.

Not interested whatsoever in this, just like the original Titan " I expected more tbh"...meh.

@Anarion and @---TK---: I'm NOT interested! πŸ˜• But new GTX Titan isn't free because I will pay 590 euros (1000 (= new Titan) - 410 (= my "dead" GTX 480 replaced)). πŸ˜‰

evga will say "Ricardo u mad bro?!" no way they will take your old 480gtx price into account and then pay extra for titan πŸ˜€ Maybe you will get a 770 - 780gtx at best as a replacement.

EVGA still has 480's for RMA replacement. At best, he'll get a 580 if he's lucky. It's going to depend on if he has to ship his card back to the states or if EVGA has a EUropean office.

Does not work like that... I got GTX 660 Ti back to replace broken GTX 570 SC. They will replace your card if broken to equal or better product. You will not get over 400 € from your old card.

Rico I don't see any way you getting a titan. Best you could hope for is a 760 and thats pushing it. Don't worry if evga runs out of 480s. I have 1 in my closet that I will ship to evga. Got your back bro.

Ok but I'm worried because NOTICE: Kepler is worse optimization than Fermi on GPGPU (CUDA...) --> eg: GTX 660 Ti, 670, 680... are slower than GTX 480. πŸ™

Yes but I will receive min GTX 660Ti or 7x0 but after I will sell this new card and buy Titan or Maxwell with fast double precision. πŸ˜‰

i'll get one too, Ricky, i'll take out a four hundred pound pay day loan, sell my current and raise the additional two hundred or so (I imagine it'll be Β£800 - Β£850ish). forget the fact my current can handle every game I got ..I wanna be a nerd!! lol no but really, 800 series or bust πŸ™‚

Honestly I'd rather wait for the new gtx 8** series of cards {which is around the corner...lol}

I came up with a new term: "silent milking".

what, like reviewing a card same as the last card but this time it has a different sticker?

Just wait for the 800 series. Titan's are overrated ..... :infinity:

The question is, obviously, when 800 series comes out? and how huge will be the leap above the 700 series? I think the first answer will be in late 2014 perhaps Q3 or just Q4 2014. And the second i have no idea...and thats worrying me since i want to upgrade my GTX 660, mainly for TW3.

290x reviews, right? I've no idea, you ask boss that. In this case, its actually "new" card. So yeah... its totally silent milking.
