Well NVIDIA wasnt exactly about to lay down and let AMD roll over them. What i'm more interested about the 780ti is the price.

I dont trust nvidia or amd benchmarks from their own. I want to see Guru3d bench

you lose, not they. it's well-known that 780ti is gonna be faster than both titan and 290x anyway.

Looks great but the GTX 780 Ti should not be priced at more than $600.

And why is that?

Because its not that faster then competition and 200$ higher price doest justify it.

Think he's on about price/performance but it'll be fast enough to justify a $700 price tag. Or maybe not.

If it's the fastest single gpu I think the price is justified, but each to there own I guess, lets remember how much the titan was when launched and still is.

These leeks could be fake only time will tell, it looks a lot faster unless 4 k is your reason for purchase, Tj I am all for you getting one or two so we can bench these and overclock the living daylights out of them 🙂 plus I would feel better if I didn't take the plunge on my own hehe 😉

Thats an overclocked Ti, all the other cards are still @ stock.

Did I miss something were was that information about it being overclocked

On videocard z.
First NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti benchmarks have been posted on Chiphell. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti equipped with 2880 CUDA cores is clearly leading in Single-GPU charts. The performance of 780 Ti is almost as good as GTX 690***8242;s, which is a dual-GK104 graphics card. Just as I told you earlier the GTX 780 Ti can score 6000k points in 3Dmark11 Extreme, of course this requires some overclocking. Here we have a score around 5800, which is already a good number. System power consumption is definitely higher than other cards. We are looking at 500 watts here, which is definitely more than R9 290X in this comparison. The leaker claims that the card is running at average 970 MHz, which is 50+ MHz overclock. The GTX 780 Ti is supposedly labeled with a maximum power draw at 275W, that’s without any clock manipulation. Rising the clock could led to rapid power increase. These numbers will require much more sophisticated review just to be sure. Please note GTX 780 Ti is overclocked.

http://www.chiphell.com/thread-891408-1-1.html Probably there somewhere, I read something similar but haven't been able to find a confirmation either though I can't read Chinese. EDIT: Was answered, wasn't much of a overclock though.

50mhz is not going to make much diffrence at all
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/124/124168.jpg
lame, I would of left the 780ti at stock than put a measly 50mhz oc
data/avatar/default/avatar13.webp
well, at least this 50mhz difference doesn't make the card working at 100 degrees x'D, I don't care for the oc, it's the king 🙂

No one knows load temps for the 780Ti yet. I would guess that it may be slightly cooler then the 290x, but being a reference cooler and all I am expecting it to be around the same, maybe a few degrees C less, I am also expecting Nvidia to run the fan at higher RPM then what AMD did with the 290x.

That chart means nothing to me anyway, I'll wait for more respective sources.

Im not sure where the industry is going but damn more than 500$ for graphic cards is an insane amount of money.
