I would assume most people purchase these for HTPC's anyways. The real question is, will there be a Ti version? And as far as price, I'd probably just go with a 1050 Ti, assuming it drives the prices back down. Might be fun to do a small, low-power productivity build again, beyond simply using AMD's 2200/2400.

Good question, but since the 2Gb GTX 1050 is still selling for $130 ~ $140 USD, which is outrageous, I can only imagine these will need to be more costly. Alternatively, retailers are going to start jumping out of windows when they are forced to slash about $30 off of the 1050 to have the 1650 replace them at that price-point. At least in the U.S., anyone who has a six or eight-pin PCIe power cable hanging out of their power supply should probably just grab a RX 570 and call it a day.

They can card a bit more do to the low power draw. Businesses surprisingly do not care about gaming etc... haha. The 1050 price is pretty high, though they must be selling.
