Ansel will now require shitty GeForce experience? Well, it was already a stupid exclusive/closed tool, so it may as go full throttle and merge with the bloatware that is GE... I prefer implementations that can be leveraged by all hardware configurations and be optimised for by all parties... thus not Ansel, GameWorks and the likes! Exclusivity sucks!

Didn't Ansel always require GFE?

nope, i had it working in the FFXV demo without it.

So they will force GFE down our throat eventually...

I still think that if they are making a new Control Panel, it will be merged with GFE.

The moment you pause movement, Ansel RT quickly cranks up the level of ray-tracing to beyond real-time levels for the best possible in-game photo. In Assetto Corsa Competizione, invoking Ansel RT dramatically increases the number of rays cast into a scene, increasing refractions per pixel by 10X, Ambient Occlusion samples by 12X, shadow samples by 32X, and reflection samples by 40X.
That's sounds pretty cool. I hope it's out on release.

I hope they could make better materials, to date the demo ones has been very poor, people who work with ray tracing daily can say it. well... computationally speaking this is tough even for this last gen cards
