Ah my bad, I noticed an earlier driver I tried it said RTX in the driver name, whereas the other just said GTX

The stutter issue sounds like a odd one from the known issue entries as it sounds like it affects a fair amount of titles, some good fixes too though and maybe that one is only for when the HW scheduler option is set? EDIT: As usual that's from the PDF which just for convenience it's this. https://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/451.67/451.67-win10-win8-win7-release-notes.pdf Fixed issues are already listed in the opening post. 🙂
Windows 7 Issues [Notebook][H-Clone]: With the integrated graphics processor as the clone source, display settings cannot be changed from the NVIDIA Control Panel. [200594188] Windows 10 Issues [Mechwarrior 5 DirectX 12]: The game crashes randomly with TDR and "Video driver crashed and was reset” error. [200634109] [Shadow of the Tomb Raider][DirectX 12]: The game may crash when launched if Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling is enabled. [3037544] To workaound, disable Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. [Horizon Zero Dawn Complete][DirectX 12]: Colored corruption occurs during the game-load menu if Image Sharpening is enabled. [200633655] Several games randomly freeze for a few seconds during gameplay. Affected games include Assassin's Creed Origins, Planetside 2, Assassin’s Creed III, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. [3038632] [Sunset Overdrive]: The game may display random green corruption if Depth of Field is enabled from in-game settings. [2750770] [VR]: HDCP errors occur with Valve Index VR. [2967616] [Call of Duty: Modern Warfare]: Color banding can occur in the game after enabling Image Sharpening from the NVIDIA Control Panel. [2889337/3028436] [Call of Duty - Warzone]: Freestyle does not work. (200593020) [Forza Motorsport 7]: The curb may display a black strip during a race on certain tracks. [2781776] [Zombie Army: Dead War 4][Ansel/Freestyle]: The Ansel & Freestyle tabs are unselectable. [2810884] [Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege][Vulkan][G-SYNC]: When playing the game in Vulkan mode with G-SYNC enabled, flickering occurs after switching the game between full-screen and windowed mode.[200578641] To work around, either disable G-SYNC or play using an API other than Vulkan. Video playback on the secondary display lags/freezes while playing a game on the primary display if Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling is enabled [200586262] [Notebook][H-Clone]: With the integrated graphics processor as the clone source, display settings cannot be changed from the NVIDIA Control Panel. [200594188] [Notebook]: Some Pascal-based notebooks w/ high refresh rate displays may randomly drop to 60Hz during gameplay. [3009452]
"Several games randomly freeze for a few seconds during gameplay." That particular one, well there might be a hotfix for it if it's that prevalent at least. 🙂 For what it means there's game readiness for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete and F1 2020 too. (Being D3D12 titles it might be a good thing to avoid potential issues.) EDIT: Seeing how game support in the drivers tend to land well in advance of the games actual release date so the term usually does not mean too much but there's always exceptions and this low level API stuff might see some further importance on ensuring at least that there's nothing going on from the driver side of things.

looks very few fixes on minor bugs, but major bugs still here

I wouldn't call the Detroit crashing minor. Well, but the unfixed HAGS crashes are a bit disappointing, yes.

What the heck is so complicated that they still can't get image sharpening to work with Modern Warfare? This has been an issue for the last few months now. What is great about Modern Warfare is you have the ability to render the game at a lower resolution than your monitor's native one but keep the HUD at the monitor's native resolution. In the past I keep the HUD at 1440p, render the actual game at 1080p and turn on Nvidia Image sharpening and it looked great with a large gain in performance compared to rendering everything at 1440p. The banding issue with MW and sharpening has been unresolved for at least the last 4 driver revisions.

Does this fix the wacky performance problems in Forza Motorsport 7 that 451.48 introduced?

Shadow of the Tombraider dx12 crashes with this driver, I hope that F1 2020 running well, when I get my copy tomorrow. But no issues with other games so far.
