I'm running 384.94 and it reports CUDA 9. I think they just forgot to update the documents.

In another driver thread, we were talking about the speed of NVCP lacking as of late. I find it interesting that at least in build 16251, this driver and opening the NVCP is speedy. I click it's there ready to go a second later. Good stuff. *EDIT* Just went back and tried it again....yeah its faster after the initial load. The menus are not lagged up when you click to change settings. At least on this rig with the Win 10 build mentioned above.

This one I can confirm that the NvCpl loading is slightly faster than before. 🙂

I think that problem and the non working upon boot, both start to appear after a couple of days, let´s see.

No There was an issue till latest driver in some 1080Ti models that when windows logo was appearing the image had an issue like when memory overclock is not stable..... They said that they were close to a fix, waiting Manuel to see if they fixed Edit: the issue was addresses by nvidia like this: Lines across screen during Windows boot on some factory overclocked cards w/ high refresh rate monitors [1953061]

***61557; [GeForce GTX 1070][Doom]: The GPU clocks remain running at high performance speeds after exiting from the game. [1954033] Finally solved...

Yeah, a few months ago I had the same issue too, but my monitor is 1440p59. Issues and updates; [1953061] Lines across the screen momentarily while booting into Windows on some factory overclocked graphics cards

I suppose you read my posts in another thread? So far NVCP launches every time after this Win 10 build and this driver. If not stop hacking! :infinity: j/k of course.

in bf1 the game still sttuters in dx 12 on operations cutscenes. But in gameplay is smooth some stutters at the beggining of the match but i think thats maybe because i have an old ssd. Im not playing bf4 anymore since i upgraded from my old 980 so i not tested it, and i dont have or interested in pub. In dota 2 vulkan mode there is no more sttutering using 8K DSR is smooth as hell. But was like that since 384.94, so at least for me these last drivers are keeping up a good job.

I noticed that Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice now runs ~3°C cooler on my GPU than with previous drivers. Same performance.
