I've never installed a hotfix but as I use the Home streaming of Steam I want to isntall this one. Do I need to have the previous driver installed before this hotfix or can I install just this?

Their beta drivers are hotfix drivers now.

And restart from the begining now ! Ddu, safe mod, reinstall, connect to account, seting up ch....t geforce experience (wich crach randomly) and after all that dear nvidia say that tyey have just released a newer driver for my gtx 1070 ! ***128544; help help vega

If you haven't installed the prior driver you don't need to install this one either. It's a fix for the previous driver. I would just wait for their next whql driver and install that. WhY install a driver that is not up to snuff IMHO.

For me personally the best r378 driver so far, has the most fixes in it compared to early r378. Im staying at these for now.
