A GeForce driver is an incredibly complex piece of software, with more lines of code than the entire Windows OS. We have an army of software engineers constantly adding features and fixing bugs. These changes are checked into the main driver branches, which are eventually run through a massive QA process and released.
It is lovely to know that anything in windows above nVidia driver size is image, sound, video or other kind of unnecessary resource. Now, can we get that lite version of windows which is like 250MB size?

What is with all these nVidia driver fixes? I though their drivers are perfect.

No you're thinking of their customer support. Hence the constant steady flow of updates and fixes.

Perfect? No one ever said perfect, if this is about people complaining about AMD drivers not being "perfect", people don't say perfect, there's just MORE problems with AMD drivers with little to no support for them months later, and you just have to hope that whenever AMD decides to release a new driver that hopefully, hopefully it fixes the big bug you are experiencing, and if not, there's always next one...months later...

You mad since AMD just basically throwed their "game changing" Mantle to trash?

It took them almost three years to fix a bug that made some (very few) display models to work like crap even after one guy had posted source code on their forums how the problem could have been fixed 😉

Pure Fanboy ignorance on this statement. It have been move and evolved into vulcan. Vulcan is OpenGL with Mantle. And I approve of this quite alot.

My GeForce Experience did not find this update, despite I have Beta updates enabled in preferences. I will download and install manually. Thanks!

Their customer support is. The competitions second last WHQL driver was back in 2014!

Need the Windows 10 64bit version, but cannot seem to get it from the NVIDIA download page, or GFE for that matter. I'll wait I guess and keep poking around. Edit: Just saw that link in the forums.. 🙂 Got it.

fan or not... Considering driver related issues an obvious scenario is probably that many people reinstall it while games are already configured and installed. In many cases this is a pretty logical scenario right. Nevertheless in my xp the preferred method when updating drivers is after swapping simply reinstall the game(s) in the original directory. First saving config- or game-save files is recommended depending off the specific game state. Little effort but can spare a lot of stress...

Nvidia asked the gaming community if they would like these quick fix kind of drivers and most wanted them including me, not sure why Amd people are even posting in this thread?
