Nope it's still broken and old SoM bug(?) that has been reported when first windows 10 driver appeared is still there.. What's interesting is that it has Witcher 3 profile in it and that's about it.

Is anyone using the Windows 10 preview for their primary gaming platform? If so, how is it?

NNEDI3 Chroma Upscaling issue still present in this driver version. When Chroma Upscaling is done with NNEDI3 at certain video resolutions, playback does not occur. Downgrading back to 350.12. MadVR 0.88.8 MPC-HC 1.7.8.162 See previous report here. http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=5060767&postcount=50

Can someone do a quick 3Dmark API feature overhead test and report results against 352.63?

Build 10074 has been stable enough to use as a daily so I made the switch. Haven't had any issues in games, if you're asking about performance gains though I don't have any benchmark comparisons.

What about subjective comparisons? Do you think games feel faster or slower to you? I've read from several people that claim games load faster in Windows 10 for instance..

Load times feel the same for me, I do feel like it's a smoother experience compared to 8.1 but that could also be because I was due for a clean format 🙂 I'll go through my external hard drive a little later on and see if I can find some older benchmarks to compare performance. Edit: slightly higher framerate but overall it's the same performance. The OS itself though is a vast improvement.

I tried to give win10 a shot for gaming and sadly win10 gives me this terrible stuttering that is very visible while browsing the internet and in some games. I tried to tinker with it but nothing seemed to fix it so I just gave up and rolled back to 8.1. Which sucks, since I did notice a performance increase in some games and everything overall felt snappier, but the stuttering was a huge turn off.

@ Spets and Pyrage, thanks for the feedback! I really want to try Windows 10, but I'm kind of nervous to say the least. If I do decide, will I have to do a clean install or I can I just update it from my Windows 8.1 installation?
